The advantage is that it can heat the entire hand like the greenhouse effect, while the downside is that it feels a bit bulky when using a phone. It has finally solved the problem of cold hands in winter, and i am very satisfied. Thank you.
As noted in my title, for the perfect heated glove, having the heaters in the fingers and tips would seem like the absolute best pair possible (however it might cause them to get pretty large and clunky). That being said, even with the heat only in the palms, the heat quickly makes its way into the fingers and warmth is absolutely zero problem. For warm gloves, these are awesome! Also i questioned how waterproof/resistant they were, but even with them under a running faucet they never seemed to absorb any water. My previous normal snow gloves would become soaked just with wet snow hitting them, so these are a huge improvement in the water repellent area. Battery life on high was just over 3 hours, and they lasted within 5 minutes of each other so the battery life is way more than i expected. Finally, to my surprise these gloves work great with an iphone touchscreen. Not sure how they make that happen, but they seriously work amazing.
